I’m not ashamed to admit I counted over 100 bars’ rest while transcribing this. But sometimes that’s what it takes to extract a really nice, catchy, trumpet line.

I’ve added some “do-wah” phrasing under some notes, which helped me to emulate the original when I recorded this.
